In the spirit of the Holiday Season, we would like to touch on a topic that is aligned with the values of Christmas. During a time when generosity and giving are at the forefront of people’s minds and priorities, we would like to take this opportunity to share our thoughts regarding the best practices of being a good neighbour in the context of an infill build.

Custom home building can be very overwhelming. So many decisions. More than you could even imagine. And if agreeing with your partner or family surrounding all these decisions isn’t hard enough, you must also balance this with the implications of cost and budget. It’s very easy for things to spiral out of control- trust us, we as a design builder, hear all the same horror stories you do!

The location of our home informs our lifestyle—the length of our commute, where our kids go to school, whether there’s a farmers' market or a trail network nearby. Where we live determines the community we are a part of and the neighbours we interact with.
